About this course
Located close to the Cooum river & next to the Madras Gymkhana club is this relatively new 18 hole golf course that is managed by the Army. As a 9 course it has been around for a few years, but this was completely redesigned & is now a very challenging course. With water in play on all the holes, narrow fairways, marsh & hazards to negotiate, large greens, larger bunkers & some extremely windy conditions especially as the sea breeze comes in – this is going to be one tough course to play. The 18 holes will be completely done by 2011 mid and over a 2 year period this course should turn out to be even better.
Lots off the holes need to be played strategically and drivers need to be traded for 5 woods. This is a thinking golfers course & it sure will test your prowess irrespective of your handicap.
With a central location, easy access & a challenging game – make sure you do play this course
